Hyukoh’s throughlove LP Cover
I designed a lp cover for the Korean indie rock band Hyukoh’s album ‘through love’. The subtle yet rhythmical notes are highlighted through the movements of the album title ‘throughlove’ and the highlight on the letter ‘o’ on the front cover.
Three distinct colors of black, green and a hint of yellow are used to enhance the simple and peaceful aura of the album itself.
한국 록 밴드 혁오의 앨범 through love의 LP 커버를 디자인했습니다. 앨범 타이틀 throughlove의 움직임과 전면 커버에서 강조된 ‘o’의 디테일을 통해, 섬세하면서도 리듬감 있는 음을 시각적으로 표현했습니다.
블랙, 그린, 그리고 옐로우의 포인트, 세 가지 색상을 사용해 앨범이 지닌 단순하고 평화로운 분위기를 더욱 부각시켰습니다.

nothing matters

Nothing Matters is a graduate thesis project exploring the concept of nothingness through art, philosophy, and daily life. It reflects on how absence and silence in design evoke emotion, provoke thought, and challenge norms.
The book’s minimalist design—set in Plantin, bound with exposed thread—embraces simplicity and stillness as a visual expression of its themes.

Nothing Matters 는 예술, 철학, 그리고 일상을 통해 ‘무(無)’의 개념을 탐구한 대학원 졸업 논문 프로젝트입니다. 디자인 속의 부재와 침묵이 어떻게 감정을 불러일으키고, 사유를 자극하며, 기존의 규범에 도전하는지를 성찰합니다.
책은 플랜틴 서체로 제작되었으며, 노출 제본 방식으로 엮어져 있습니다. 단순성과 고요함을 시각적으로 구현한 이 미니멀한 디자인은 프로젝트의 주제를 고스란히 담아냅니다.
