The problem statement

Many single females have anxiety due to loneliness and public safety issues.

The proposal

To help single females mental well-being and safety.

The intent was to decrease single female loneliness, while also providing different ways to be involved in a female community. Based on interviews with single female students, we gathered insights about common problems such as safety, relationship, loneliness, friendship, and anxiety. 

How might we...

• help single females safer during their commute?
  

• increase awareness of single women’s mental well being?
  

• create new bonding for single females to reduce loneliness?

Initial designs

From our insights from interviews, we came up with 5 different designs including app and physical design protoypes. After a week of feedback from classmates, we decided to combine the functions into one app and one physical diary.
